Ms. Hastie concentrates her practice in litigation with an emphasis on insurance defense.

While attending law school, Ms. Hastie worked with the Seton Hall Center for Justice Housing and Homelessness Clinic and for Legal Services of New Jersey, where she assisted people with housing and welfare issues. She is a graduate of Johnson and Wales University, where she was a member of the Culinary Honors Program, and of Seton Hall University School of Law.

Following law school, Ms. Hastie served a one-year term as law clerk to the Honorable Ronald B. Graves, J.A.D., in the Superior Court, Appellate Division.
